Direct shipment of the Multi Tank Card fuel card and PIN code
One PIN code for multiple fuel cards or a PIN code of your choice. Multi Tank Card can send the fuel card and/or PIN code directly to the driver accompanied by a personal letter. This service is also offered to you free of charge.
Fuel expense accounts
Fuel expense accounts can be entered into the e-Flex system and processed by Multi Tank Card, the fleet owner or the driver. You can indicate in the system who is allowed to enter the expense account and who may approve it. This service is also offered to you free of charge.
Online authorisation system
The information you enter is processed in the databases in real time. All changes are immediately available. You determine personally what can be charged to the Multi Tank Card fuel card. Plus you have the option (subject to certain conditions) to exclude certain products and/or product groups. For instance, if you wish to exclude payment for a special diesel or petrol you can. Also, you can determine how often – per day or per week – the Multi Tank Card fuel card may be used and add a maximum amount for each use. Any new setting you add for a product or product group is activated immediately. This service is also offered to you free of charge.
Car wash
Practically all car washes, whether or not they are located at a gas station, allow payment with the Multi Tank Card fuel card. This service is also offered to you free of charge.
Specific corporate identity
Clients with over 500 operational Multi Tank Card fuel cards have the option to add their corporate logo or text to the Multi Tank Card fuel card in a reserved space on the side of the card where the magnetic tape strip is located. For companies with more than 1000 operational fuel cards a logo or text can be added to the reserved space on the other side of the card also. This service is offered free of charge.
Parking

In addition, the Multi Tank Card fuel card can be used to pay for parking in the garages at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol – and in the future possibly also at a large number of other parking garages in the Netherlands. Parking fees are settled without surcharge.
Management Information (e-Flex control module)
The heart of the administrative process is the cutting-edge e-Flex system. Based on an open infrastructure, Multi Tank Card has developed a platform that offers room for sophisticated data communication, transaction and information technologies. This service is also offered to you free of charge.

Cost management
Cost conscious fuelling behaviour can save you a lot of money.
Over 70% of the volume of gas sold is still purchased at gas stations along the highways (where the highest price is charged) and only 30% of the volume is purchased at local gas stations (which mostly charge a lower price). Price differences, depending on the region and the brand, vary between € 0.07 and € 0.14 per litre. In general it turns out that drivers DO NOT go to a local gas station in their home town, but wait until they are a few kilometres down the road and on the highway to fill up with gas (the more expensive litres!). Also, drivers tend to fill up with Superplus instead of Euro 95, even though the car manufacturer advises the latter. The price difference between the two can easily come to € 0.07 per litre. So you see, it is simple to save quite a lot of money by just changing a driver’s fuelling behaviour. With no extra effort for the driver because the Multi Tank Card fuel card allows you to fill up everywhere, even locally.
Simply by entering a postal code, all gas stations within a certain radius will be displayed, including current fuel prices. In addition, we have a unique mailing system available that reminds the driver where the less expensive gas stations are. If a driver is filling up and other (less expensive) gas stations are available in the neighbourhood of the preferred gas station, he or she will receive an e-mail message (it is necessary, however, to register for this option in advance).
Drivers can actually make a significant contribution in cost management simply by being cost conscious when purchasing gas. The tools that Multi Tank Card offers via the Internet can help you in this area and require minimum effort from the driver.

Oil Company fuel cards
Oil Company fuel cards are fuel cards issued by the oil companies and which allow you fill up your tank at their own oil company’s gas station only. Multi Tank Card processes the fuelling transactions and will charge all costs directly to you.
Filling up abroad
Highways don’t end at the border. If your business regularly takes you to other European countries you will want to be able to use your fuel card there too. Multi Tank Card allows you to pay abroad electronically with your International Multi Tank Card/DKV fuel card.

ID-cards
Multi Tank Card also offers ID cards. ID cards contain information about your Leasing Company, assistance services, telephone numbers etc. You may determine what the card looks like and what information it contains. Multi Tank Card can personalize the card for you. ID cards cannot be used to purchase fuel at gas stations.
